Hans Breaux | CPHC | LEED GA

Hans holds a B.S. Arch. and M. Arch. from the University of Louisiana where he was active in many urban & community development initiatives. He also bears LEED Green Associate and Certified Passive House Consultant credentials. During his time at the university, he was introduced to Maine as an intern at Duvall Design of Rockland. After graduation, he backpacked to Maine along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail, and landed in Belfast working as a web designer and manager at the Belfast Co-op. Hans joined BRIBURN in Summer 2016 after working with other top Portland firms including Scott Simons Architects. He meditates every day and is a daunting yet gracious chess player. Hans also volunteers his time with the Friends of Feral Felines, Marine Mammals of Maine, the Portland Maine Bicycle & Pedestrian Advisory Committee, the Bicycle Coalition of Maine, and sits on passivhausMAINE’s Board of Directors. For his love and commitment to non-motorized transportation, Hans lives on the Portland peninsula with his cat and is able to commute exclusively by foot or on two wheels.
